PETE AND LOGAN POLLAK

Pete and Logan Pollak, the proud parents of three young Hornets and two future Hornets, appreciate the nurturing, supportive atmosphere that The Savannah Country Day School provides and look forward to sending their two youngest children to SCDS in the future.

“We feel like Country Day has done a great job helping our children grow academically and personally,” Logan explains. “The teachers at SCDS have been crucial in the personal development of our children. They really view each student as an individual.”

When Country Day announced the Investing in Excellence capital campaign – which is raising funds to build a new Upper School building and to expand the current athletics and arts infrastructure on campus – Pete and Logan didn’t hesitate to make a commitment.

“There’s nothing you can invest in that’s more important than your children’s education.”

“We feel like a new Upper School is a real need for the school,” Pete says. “It’s going to allow Country Day to continue to attract high-level faculty and students. It’s critical to the long-term growth of the school.”

Even though these busy parents of five young children have numerous commitments, giving back to SCDS stood out as a high priority. Together, Pete and Logan view their donation to the capital campaign as an important investment in the future.

“We feel strongly about Country Day,” Logan raves. “We love it and want to do anything we can to help.”
