Sam and Erlinda Torres are the parents of Country Day graduates Mylin '94 and Fernando '96. Sam and Erlinda credit their children's success to the foundation Country Day provided them many years ago, and they support the Invest in Excellence campaign as a way to "pay it forward" to current and future Hornets.

"Our family always believed that to be successful, you need not only talent but also the best preparation for what lies ahead," said Sam Torres. "Our children, Mylin and Fernando, were fortunate to have started this learning process from kindergarten to graduation in the 'GO-TO' school in Savannah. They were well-prepared to tackle the challenges they met in prestigious universities. They are now well-established in their careers and have families of their own, and they are following the same blueprint we used for their children in Atlanta. We heartily support Country Day!".
